Project
Our project goals for Panasonic.com were threefold: establish the site as a robust resource for learning about Panasonic consumer electronics, create visual and data content that acted as an effective driver for the purchase of products, as well as provide a support base for Panasonic customers.
Approach
Over an 18 month period, Renegade conceived, architected, designed, and programmed the new site. The result was a first-rate online retail and support experience guided by Panasonic’s brand promise, “Ideas for Life,” delivering customer satisfaction through clear and effectively branded learning, shopping and support experiences in both a traditional navigational structure, as well as a cross-tabbed horizontal system. The redesigned shopping experience greatly accelerated the time from arrival to product selection to purchase decision.” Through our work, overall customer satisfaction increased + 3 to 4 points while average conversion doubled. Channel partner conversion rose 15%. Forrester ranked the site 1st in the consumer electronics category. eRetailer gave the site top marks.
